Scientific-methodical board of UPA
Scientific-methodical board of UPA is an expert consulting-advisory body at the Ukrainian Polygraph Association.
The Board is established to improve scientific and practical work in the field of research using polygraph, to promote the quality of research and to consider controversial issues of research practice among polygraph examiners.
Main tasks of Scientific-methodical board:
- determination of priority methodological directions in the field of research with use of polygraph
- evaluation of the prospects of scientific research development in the field of polygraph use in Ukraine
- providing a unified methodological approach to solving the issues of theory and practice of forensic psychophysiological expertise using polygraph
- consideration of controversial issues of research practice of polygraph examiners
- facilitating the development of polygraph research professionals
- definition of moral and ethical standards of polygraph examiners in their professional activity
- organization of operational information support of the UPA members
- expert advisory consideration of conflicts, disputes and other force majeure situations that may arise between polygraph examiners and others during the research with use of computer polygraph

Graduated from Kharkiv Law Institute, specialty – jurisprudence. Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law, Academician of Law of the Ukrainian Technological Academy
Polygraph examiner: studied at the Main Department of Internal Affairs of the Krasnodar Krai in 1998. From 1998 to the present, she is involved in the investigation and disclosure of serious and resonant crimes.
He is the author of a number of methodological developments for the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, and the first in Ukraine methodical manual on the use of polygraph in the police.
Vadym Barko
Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Professor of Sociology and Psychology Department
In 1999 he graduated from the Academy of Legal Psychophysiology (USA, Florida, Largo), in 2003 he upgraded his qualification at Epos School.
Vadym Barko is an author of more than 25 scientific articles and papers in the field of instrumental lie detection, one of the most experienced polygraph examiners in Ukraine.

Tetiana Morozova
President of UPA, Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Head of the Science and Education Center of UPA
Graduated from Kyiv Institute of Internal Affairs, specialty – psychologist. Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Senior Research Fellow on specialty «legal psychology».
Author of 65 scientific works in the field of legal, penitentiary psychology, polygraphy.
Polygraph examiner: Studied at the Main Department of Internal Affairs of the Krasnodar Krai in 2003, passed a training course at the Kuban State Technological University in 2006.
Oleksii Dubrovskyi
The developer of the “RUBICON” polygraph. The first President of the UPA.
Graduated from Odessa Medical Institute, specialty “Pediatrics”, specialization “Pediatric surgery”.
Polygraph examiner: studied at Polygraph Test LLC in 2007. Author of a modified technique for conducting research using a polygraph.
Manufacturer of “RUBICON” polygraphs. Developer of the online psychological testing system “StimulTest”.
Viktoriia Chimisova
Expert polygraph examiner
Education: higher engineering. Polygraph examiner: Studied at the Main Department of Internal Affairs of the Krasnodar Krai in 1998 р. Since 1998, she has been involved in the investigation and disclosure of serious and resonant crimes within the “Alfa-Shchyt” polygraph examiners team.
The number of researches exceeds 3 thousand people. Thanks to the researches of V. Chimisova, dozens of serious crimes were uncovered; perpetrators, organizers and guides identified; suspects and detainees were not involved was proved.
Dmytro Popov
Expert psychologist, polygraph examiner
Graduated from Kyiv Military Humanitarian Institute at the National Defense Academy of Ukraine, specialty – practical psychology.
Candidate of Psychological Sciences. Polygraph examiner. Expert in psychological diagnosis and non-instrumental diagnostics of insincere behavior.
From 1998 to 2008, he did his military service in Security Service of Ukraine as a psychologist.
Svitlana Lasunova
